The Levante is offered in four trim levels for the 2019 model year. The second engine, a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8, powers the GTS and Trofeo models. Under the hood of the GTS, this engine creates 550 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also able to crank out 590 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque when under the hood of the Trofeo model. Both engine options are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system for a sportier drive. The engine is also mounted further back into the chassis for optimum 50/50 weight balance.
