Maserati offers the Ghibli in three outstanding trim levels for the 2019 model year. The base model comes outfitted with features like keyless entry and ignition, LED taillights, automatic xenon headlights, power-adjustable steering wheel, remote engine start, a rearview camera, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a 7” driver info display, and a sunroof. Can you tell me about the Ghibli's powertrain options?

Each of the three trim levels we named before are offered in three distinct powertrains. They are known as the base Ghibli, S, and S Q4. The base engine is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that produces up to 345 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. This engine has been estimated to reach 24 miles per gallon on the highway. The same twin-turbocharged V6 engine powers the S variation but this time it is pumping out 424 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. Both the base and S powertrains are equipped with rear-wheel drive. The final version, the S Q4 takes on the same enhanced V6 engine, this time with all-wheel-drive. All variations are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Maserati equips each model, no matter the engine, with ESS technology to save fuel when idling.
